Once the fan shrouds had been fitted, a cover for the cable channel could be made. First, a cardboard template was made to get a rough idea of the angles and sizes involved.

The finished design was then transferred to aluminium sheet, cut out, bent, and tweaked so it matched the template.

I then tweaked the vertical cover, the curved drive box and various other parts connected to them.
